Turkey, Part 2! No, I haven't forgotten. But for some reason, my picture uploading isn't running smoothly, so it's taking quite a while. Moving on.
Most nights, we had dinner with our best pals and all their kiddos. 2 full families plus ours! And my mom! That made a total of 7 adults and 5 kids. Meal times were very exciting! At this huge resort, we were told there were 1000 guests, and our large group made up only about 300 of them. So, not only were meal times wild because of our own children, but because of the massive hoards of Turkish people swirling around trying to get their food, too! Whew!
The first night, after being in childcare all day, Lucy was zonked! She was super lovey on the trip and let several of my friends, and Mom, hold her a lot! My sweet pal Wendi holding Lucy and her precious 3rd child, Lailie, looking over her shoulder.
You may remember this family from our big vacation this summer! (I just love pictures of kiddos holding hands!)
It was so nice each night to come back from the madness of the day and all the meetings and the crazy mealtimes to the quiet of our room. And most nights Bibi/Mom came with us. Here they are reading Lucy's Bible and getting ready for bed.
Just a glimpse of the beautiful scenery we saw each day. This resort is between the Mediterranean Sea and some beautiful mountains! We had one day of complete free time and we spent a lot of it outside.
One day, lots of folks were swimming and jumping off this pier. Including Brad!
Here's our pal Joshua. He jumped in quite a few times! Look how beautiful and blue it all is!
It was overwhelmingly clear and beautiful!
You can't tell, but Brad is soaking wet and just got out of the Sea. It was cold. Lucy and I only swam in the indoor heated pool!
But we'd sure like to go back to this resort when it's warm! Their lagoon pool was HUGE! I pushed Brad in right after this picture. I mean, he was wet already...
And he swam across to the other side to get out. He was FREEZING! I was told that the pool outside was colder than the Sea. Brad and some guys also went down the outdoor water slides at the resort, too. But I think only once. Apparently, the water in the water slides was the coldest!
Here's our amazing pals again. They have 2 other kiddos, too, but we didn't see much of them! They are older and they ran around all week with their friends. I can't blame them!
More later!

You're right - that is GORGEOUS!!
