It's the getting there part of vacation that wears me out. Anyone else out there feel the same? Sheesh. All the packing and then readjusting weight to make sure you don't go over and the making sure the 2.5 year old is behaving and happy and there with you and man... sheesh. Yes, this is a "2 sheesh" kind of feeling tonight.
Our plane leaves tomorrow morning at 7:25 local time, which means we have to get up SUPER early to make it to the airport. Thing is, we have to take a taxi cause, well, we don't want to pay to park for 2 weeks. Pay to park... now that's a rip off. SO, I'm a bit stressed that the cab will get here on time and that we'll make it out the door with everything we need/brought.
Back to the details... We drove to the Big D today to spend the night since our flight is super early. We're staying in an amazing place of some friends who are out of town. They will pick us up when we get back, too. Nice, huh? So, tomorrow morning when we leave their apartment at 5 am we also have to make sure that we take out the trash - that has Lucy's diapers in it, yuck - and that we put the room back together like it was when we left it. It's a big, BIG morning ahead of us. Pray with me, will you?
I know that once we arrive on our vacation spot, I'll be good to go. But it's the getting there that really wears me out. :)

Oh, being nervous that a taxi wouldn't show up - I remember the stress of those days!! Don't envy you on that one. I'll be praying and look forward to pics from your vacation!
