I guess I'm stuck in the mode of having a baby girl. I mean, she just seems so small to me, ya know? Maybe it's cause she's MY baby girl. Anyway, I must admit that I kinda keep a lookout to my friends who have kiddos Lucy's age to "judge" where Lucy is compared to them. And I kinda take my cues from what their kiddos do to see what I need to be doing with Lucy at that point.
WATER WINGS is the newest big girl thing for us - following said cues.
We were't too sure how Lucy would do with them. She's not the biggest fan of having things ON her. But, once she got past the initial "Yikes. What are these?" She loved them! She already tries to be so independent in the water and these were just what she needed! Who knew that an 18-month old could "SWIM"!!! She did wonderfully. She probably could have handled them a while back! Sheesh!

Way to go, Lucy! Hazel won't swim by herself with them, for whatever reason. And Annabel, who now tolerates water, won't swim by herself with these either! So I'm really impressed to hear that Miss Lucy does so well with them! Makes swimming easier for you, huh?
