I love our city! I love the diversity of it. At the same time, it can be overwhelming to be surrounded by so much lostness. Please continue to Pray for our city!
There are so many funny things around here. Almost daily, Brad and I laugh at something! Take a look at this shelf in a local store. Can you see all the different images on the shelves?
We've got a big bust of Mary, a Buddah on the bottom shelf, several Hindu 'gods' interspersed, and on the top shelf, a Mary/Joseph/baby Jesus scene. Wow.
We're on the search for a sofa set. Furniture here in our country is CRAZY! I can tell you all about it, but pictures are worth a thousand words, right? These sofas are very typical for our country:

This one has Gold accents!
Purple and metallic.
Needless to say, we haven't found one yet. The search is still on!
