We got all gussied up...
(Brad dressed Lucy in her precious pink giraffe dress that her Babu sent her!)
We headed to the Grand Hyatt to eat at the fancy, shmancy Italian restaurant.
We played around for a little while in the lobby of the hotel... well, Lucy played and we chased her. (The restaurant doesn't open until 7!)
When we went into the restaurant, we had the whole thing to ourselves because Americans eat so much earlier than everyone here! It was awesome! Talk about amazing service! :)
(Lucy had chicken nuggets that I made in advance.) I ordered an amazing veal dish and Brad ordered this awesome pasta dish. ...And when the food came and the veal wasn't what I was expecting, my amazing, wonderful, loving hubby swapped dishes with me and let me eat his yummy pasta and he enjoyed what he called "the best beef he's had since we've been here."
Did I mention how amazing Brad is? I sure do love him!
We were both pleased and Lucy thoroughly enjoyed her chicken, too!
It was an amazing night! I love date nights!
We are big fans of the giraffe, right? She looks very cute - but snarly in the bottom pic.
