On the way there, apparently I asked her twice if she was excited. After the 2nd time, she said, "I already told you I was excited, Mom." Funny lady.
And at first...it was. She did great! She has amazing balance and was able to stand on one leg. She stood right up front and seemed to be having such fun!
PRECIOUS!
Then the clock hit 5:10. 10 minutes into the class. And she turned, walked over to me and said, "I'm bored" and sat down. She wanted to sit in my lap. She wouldn't explain, really, what was going on. She talked about Nitnots (Imagination Movers, anyone?) and about Mrs. Melinda (her teacher back at ELC in AL) and other than that, she just sat. About 5 minutes before class was over, she moved to the floor next to me. But I could never get her to get back up and participate.
And here we are a week later and she's still not interested in going back. And at $13/class, I'm not interested in paying for her to just sit and watch. And what can I say, I'm not much of a ballerina myself...so... we'll try something else!
Ballet. Check!

HAHA! That's so funny/cute. I'm interested to see how my girls handle group exercises/sports. Maybe Lucy is more of a Broadway style dancer?? :)
