Lucy's Class Party & Christmas Program

Parents were invited to Lucy's Class' Party last week. Of course I went. It was fun to see her with her friends and her teacher and to meet them and their parents. 

See how calm they are? Just sitting there all patient. Sheesh! How does Mrs. Melinda do that?

 After the food, they just played. Fun. Not so calm.

 Lucy's First School Christmas Ornament 

Her teacher handed it to me and said, "She really looks like an angel!" I agree!

 Sweet Mrs. Melinda. Lucy loves her!

 As we were leaving, Lucy said that she was the line leader and I was supposed to follow her.

Now the Christmas Program!

 I think she's saying "Hey Daddy!" here because she didn't sing a word of the songs!

 But she beat on her "drum" like a champ!

 In the 2nd song, they had jingle bells. At one point, she was talking to hers. I'm sure in her little mind they were little people and they needed to have a conversation right then.

 While they were waiting patiently for their last song. Told you she loves Mrs. Melinda! Sitting in her lap! Too cute.

 For the last song of the program, all the kiddos came up and sang "Feliz Navidad." 

Again, not much singing coming from Lucy or anyone in her class, really.

But she was still VERY CUTE!

 After her program, we went to lunch with Babu and Andrea. 

THEN we headed to Hobby Lobby for some 50% off Christmas shopping fun!

Lucy found some puppies and little chairs just her size to play in.

 Then she decided to put on a hat and sit down and wait patiently for us to notice that she was in the PERFECT Christmas card pose! (Too bad we already sent out Christmas cards...)
