5 things

1. Sandstorms are intense! You know that scene in The Mummy where the sand blows in and it literally takes them over? Well, that's what happened here today. Around 4:30, it was really dark outside, so I opened the curtains to see what was going on. And we could literally SEE the storm blowing in. It was wild! In about 2 minutes we could no longer see the few buildings that are across the lot from us. Wish we had a video of it blowing in. Wow. Here's some pictures:

2. I'm running out of t-shirts. And I like t-shirts a lot. So, as one of my souvenirs in Jordan, I bought a t-shirt. I put it on the other night... well... Take a good look at this picture:
It's not the way I'm standing that makes this look off. It's the t-shirt! You can see the hem is crooked, almost like an upside down V. The sleeves, if you look closely, are sewn with wrinkles in them, making them appear as puffed sleeves, and the neckline is very tight, but the shirt around the neckline is big and poofy. Nice, huh? Oh, and I forgot to mention that the design on the shirt is not centered. Lovely. Oh well!

If you've got any great t-shirts, size L, I'll take them!

3. Lucy threw an absolute fit today about the shirt and shorts she wanted to wear. She's 2 years and 7 months and the fits about outfits have started already... what in the world am I in store for...?

4. I've got a crick in my neck that's hung around for 4 days now and has developed into quite the headache. Boo. It needs to be gone tomorrow! Pray for that!

5. Tomorrow is the last day of Ramadhan! Yay! That means that after tomorrow, they will celebrate their big holiday, called Eid al Fitr. It's as big of a holiday to them as Christmas is to us. Everyone gets new clothes and they visit their friends and family for 3 days. We've been blessed to share this holiday with our closest local friends back in our former city both years we've been here and we will leave tomorrow to head down there to celebrate with them again. 3 Eids with this family. Pray for opportunities for us to share the Love of Jesus with them!
