There's a lot happening in the next 7 days. Here's a run-down, for those of you who'd like to know how to accurately pray for us:
Monday, Jan 17 - last full day of classes for this semester and I'm having a most-likely painful medical test done tomorrow at 12:15 our time (2:15 am CST, please pray!)
Tuesday, Jan 18 - 1:10 our time (3:10 am CST) Brad and I have our final speaking test for our first semester. (Amea)
*Have I told you that learning Arabic basically involves learning two separate languages. There's a spoken colloquial language, called Amea. And then there's the written, formal language, called Foos-ha. It's used in books, newspaper, all the Arabic sub-titles on movies or TV, all news and reporting on TV... it's the formal language. BUT, that's what's using in the Bible, so learning it is a must!
Wednesday, Jan 19 - 8 am (10 pm CST) Our written Foos-ha test (open-book, YAY!).
Thursday, Jan 20 - last day! We have a school-wide party. Should be fun times.
Friday, Jan 21 and Saturday, Jan 22 - weekend!
Sunday, Jan 23 - going to the BIG CITY to pick up my MOM! YAY! YAY! YAY! Did I say YAY?
