Finished

Finished with our first semester of Arabic! Whew!

We got our final grades back today. I got a fabulous grade on the written Foos-ha test! But my spoken grade wasn't what I thought it would be. I know it's a subjective grade and really, I scored slightly above average for a class 1 finisher, but I thought I'd do better. Oh well.

At least I scored slightly above average!

I'm going to stop right now and CHOOSE to be joyful in the Lord and in the progress that I've made in the last year and a half. I was horrible at High School Spanish... I mean, I even got a BS in Musical Theatre in college just so that I wouldn't have to take a foreign language (which was necessary to get a BA). I've never been a good language person!

But God is. And He's good in me. And he's promised to work things out for good in me, according to His glory. And as long as I'm giving Him glory, I'm on the right track.

So, bring it on Semester 2! Let's see what you have in store! I WILL NOT let Satan get me down about my score anymore.

(But before Semester 2... I get to spend 2 weeks with MY MOM!!! She'll be here in 3 days!!! YAY!)
