Today (and yesterday)

(I'm borrowing this idea from my pal Brittney)

Today, I got to sleep in until 9 am because my amazing hubby got up with Lucy.
Today, I got so much accomplished and I'm feeling it in my back!
Today, I went to the store with my pal Mrs G and got so hot in the store that I almost forgot what I was there for!
Today, upon returning from the store at around 10:45, it was well over 110 and I was sweating from head to toe!
Today, I packed up all the bathroom/toiletries, lots of Lucy's toys, our "winter" clothes, shoes and socks, and my sewing stuff.
Today, I learned the correct words to the Team Umizoomie song. (Be jealous.)
Today, I visited a sweet local friend, had her yummy food, got a gift of perfume and melted candles (remember the heat!) and had a sad goodbye.
Today, we played CandyLand with Lucy for the first time and she did really great!
Today, my sweet hubby ran out to the big grocery store - at 9:30 at night - to get me refried beans and salsa, my latest craving. He's amazing!
Today is maybe the last Sunday we will spend in this apartment, or even in this city.

Yesterday, we had 2 "wild" animal sightings in our house. One was a gecko. I prefer not to remember what the other one was.
Yesterday, we had 15 people in our house for a 'Thanksgiving in June'/Happy Birthday, Brad! turkey dinner.
Yesterday, I cooked said turkey, along with cornbread dressing and green beans and sweet tea, and had enough time for an hour nap and a shower before everyone arrived!
Yesterday, I ate a lot!
Yesterday, I did not pack 1 single thing.
Yesterday marked 2 months exactly until we fly to America!

  1. Sounds like a great day or two (minus the wildlife sighting!)
