Picture Posts are the Best!

Those are the best kinds of posts anyway, right? 

Here are a few super cute pictures of Lucy from the past week or so. 

In these two, she's writing a letter. It's a very important letter, as evidenced by her total concentration. Please note her left-handedness. My mom is beside herself with glee about this fact.

She was super tired this day! We don't usually let her have a pacifier when she's not in bed, but she found one and it was too funny the way she was all sprawled out on the sofa!

 Her hair is finally long enough for pigtails! I LOVE them! I mean, if she wasn't the cutest already, she's certainly the cutest 21 month old around now! 

 And as hard as it is to get her to look at the camera - getting a smile, too, is priceless! 

 This was on Thursday. (It's our Friday cause our week runs Sunday-Thursday) After her nap, she put on her fancy shoes (from Aunt Emily #1) and walked around the house for quite some time. This picture looks like she's posing to me! She's really standing there listening to and sometimes dancing to the music box that's on the table. My dad used to get me a music box for my birthday each year. This one plays a song from The Nutcracker. Lucy is mesmerized by it! 

*I'd also like you to note how short this dress is on her! It's an 18 month dress, but it hasn't looked so short until this week! She's getting so tall!*

 She enjoyed her first popsicle on the way to the park Thursday night. Well, she at least sucked on it for a few minutes, before it had to be confiscated because of too much mess in the car! We'll wait til we are AT the park next time so it won't be so messy all over!

*When we went to the park, Lucy got some cute hot pink shorts to go with her dress that will now be worn as just a top instead of a dress!*

In this one, I got her to say "Ahh" after she took a swig. You know that satisfaction "Ahh" you make after you've had a good drink of something? Well, she's started doing it and we can get her to do it on command, which is always entertaining!
