August Happenings - Part 2

It was a big month for Lucy bug! First off...we got her school uniforms.
This is the PE uniform. (She's doing a sports pose)
 And the everyday uniform.
She LOVES it! Can you tell? She is one skirt-loving girl!

We helped two couples that might be moving to our city sometime in the future.
I, of course, took them to get henna.
And had to get some myself!
We had dinner with some of our amazing Indian friends. Will and Aashish are 5 months apart and I'm certain they are going to grow up being best friends!

Flashback to when they were both tiny...April 2013. (Will 3 months, Aashish 9 months)
Our favorite Babu celebrated his birthday and we have to send some birthday love to him! Aunt Emily celebrated her birthday, too! (Pictured in the graduation cap & gown)
We love you both! Happy Happy Birthday!
And Lucy's biggest news of all...
FIRST LOST TOOTH!
 It's so tiny.
She was much happier about it later in the day and she continues to show off the hole to anyone who will look. Her permanent tooth is already poking through the skin. Sheesh. Starting school and losing a tooth within the same few weeks is almost more growing up than I can bear!

Date Night! Steak. Dessert. Movie. This man! LOVE.
And finally, a glimpse into the worlds of my littles....
Lucy has the best imagination of any child I've ever met. I can't wait to see what God has in store for her future! Here she is taking a toothpick and a pea and pretending that the dragon is roasting it over a fire, made of a pile of beads. Things like this happen all day, every day.
And then there's Will. This boy loves his Daddy like no one else! He runs to the window as soon as Brad leaves to knock on the window and to wave bye-bye. And he's so pitiful! Thankfully, he gets over it quickly. This is going to make it quite difficult to leave him at the nursery next week! No worries, we're only planning a few hours each day for 2 days a week to start. He needs to get used to being around other people!

  1. I love that last shot of your living space...it's so pretty! Also, those baby teeth are surprisingly small right?? I held it up to Hazel's mouth after hers fell out to check and make sure it was the whole tooth!
