Happy Birthday, Will!

Will's miracle journey really begins back in May of 2012. By all medical reasoning, Will wasn't supposed to be here. But God had other plans... And if I've learned anything, I've learned that His ways are higher than mine. He can see the whole picture. I only see one little piece. I praise the Father for William Perrin. He is our miracle baby.

One year ago today God's Will (as my Aunt Bonnie calls him) joined our family.
This has been an amazing year! Lots of changes! Lots of moving! But here we are, on the other side of it and I couldn't be more grateful!
This happy face greets us most mornings (sometimes, just sometimes, he's unhappy in the mornings).
 I mean, C U T E!
This boy is like his daddy in so many ways - one of those is his love of all devices! He knows how to press buttons and turns on Siri all the time!

But he's like me a lot, too. Certainly in looks and coloring (and squishy-ness)
We went to the doctor for Will's vaccines and to get his weight - 25 lb 6 oz (11.5 kg). He took his shots like a pro!
Sweet boy fell asleep on the way home with the bottle in his mouth!
Then we headed to the park for a beautiful afternoon!
Look at my men! All posed and cute!

Lucy and I walked out to the beach. The tide was SO far out! These rocks are usually completely underwater.

Back with the men. Will getting ready for a big gulp of water!
He loves drinking out of "big" cups and bottles.
He was measured at 76 cm long (2 ft 6 in), but I'm not convinced that that was accurate and I still need to take my own measurement.
 He's in a size 4+ in diapers.
Wearing 12-18 month clothes.
(Both articles of clothing in these pictures are 9 mo - too small...)
He's got 7 teeth, 4 on top and 3 on bottom.
Great long day! We've got a sleepy boy!

Looking back - I knew this baby was a biggun'
I couldn't believe we had a BOY! But I kinda figured it was a boy. My pregnancy was completely different and I was HUGE!
Flash forward to Jan 28, Lucy's Birthday, and Will finally got his first taste of sweet! A Donut!
 HE LOVED IT!
Happy Birthday to my precious boy!
He is a miracle. He is so lovable and squishy and kissable. He has the sweetest spirit - most of the time. And he is a wonderful sleeper and eater! I think he'll walk within the next month. And then who knows what's next!
