Happy Birthday, Lucy & Lesley!

January 28 was a very special day for 2 very special ladies in my life: Lucy turned 4 and my sister Lesley turned 21! BIG DAY! Lesley is in college, so we didn't get to see her, but we celebrated sweet Lucy bug all day long!
We started the day off with a special birthday donut!

 "I'm 4!"
Where did the time go? Lucy, you are a blessing to us! I'm constantly amazed at the gifts the Lord has given me! 4 years of Lucy and now we've added Will. My cup runneth over!
 Present time!

I asked her if she wanted to eat her donut first or open presents first. As you can see, we did presents first - then we enjoyed donuts!

This is a face we're getting a lot of these days when we try to take pictures!

Crayola has some of the coolest things these days!
That night, we had a birthday party at Chick-Fil-A for Lucy. We invited lots of friends and family and celebrated Lucy in exactly the way she wanted - with cake and playground time! Here we are on the way to Chick-Fil-A. Of course, the day had been way too exciting for her to nap, so she took a tiny nap on the way there.

Lucy said for months that she wanted a Dora and Diego cake. Thank you, Publix, for having the perfect cake!
We had playground time, then chicken nuggets and fruit and then cake! Then more playground, of course!
There were 13 kiddos total, including Lucy! It was the perfect size!
*And side note - Chick-Fil-A is the perfect place to have a birthday party! They were SO nice and helpful, meeting us at the door, putting all the tables together, bringing us the food and sauces and I even got a free milkshake out of it! Not to mention that you don't have to pay to have a party there! SO fun! And so nice!*
Singing Happy Birthday to my sweetie pie!
It's pretty safe to say, though, that I'm not a good judge of just how much food we needed. After giving away cake to other Chick-Fil-A guests besides the party guests, this is how much we had left over! We ended up leaving a huge chunk for the Chick-Fil-A workers and the rest of the cake went to Lucy's class the next day to celebrate again!
And here's how many nuggets and fruit were left - again, after giving lots away to friends for their spouses to eat when they got home!
Little brother Will stayed with Bibi while we had the party. He's still a little too young for party festivities, but I know he had a great time with Bibi and Papa Bill!

Happy Happy Birthday, Lucy! You are precious and such a blessing! We love you so much!
AND
Happy Happy Birthday, Lesley! You're the coolest and I'm so proud of the woman you have become! We love you so much!
