22 days into February and this is my first real post. Oops. Can I blame my newborn? Who...by the way....is probably going to start rice cereal today because he is EATING US OUT OF HOUSE AND HOME and PEEING us through WAY too many diapers because of said eating? Yep. That's where we are. If he weren't so darn cute...

Lucy is amazing. She is such a performer! She loves a microphone and will sing and dance for just about anyone! And oh my goodness she loves puppies! Sheesh!

So, here's a picture dump/update. Enjoy! You know, I think now that I do Instagram, I guess I feel like I'm updating on there... but I'll try to do better!

Cuteness.

I went to a women's conference at church and while we were there, we did a service project called Feed My Starving Children. We packed thousands of meals for children in Kenya that day. It was pretty fantastic. And we got to wear these cool hairnets! Here's me and my pal Jeremi. She says hairnets  are a great equalizer among women! :)

Amazing Kelly Minter was the speaker at our conference. She's written 3 Bible studies that I've loved! My favorite one is called No Other Gods. It's about idols. It's AMAZING! Do it. For real.

 That same weekend, my cool sister Emily came in to meet Will!

 He loves to cuddle! And so I get this shot a lot. It's so overwhelmingly wonderful!

 That night, my sweetie and I went on a date! (The taller sweetie) Doesn't he look handsome?

 Lucy has also started being very creative in her drawing lately. She does stick people with hair and all!

February 4 - Lucy's 4 year old check up and Will's 3 week old check up. Both are healthy! Their pediatrician, Dr. Bill, was also my doctor when I was little!

 Lucy had her first dentist appointment. She did such a great job! All her teeth look wonderful!

 We headed up to TN for a few days. Lucy loves going to Granny & Granddaddy's house. She's "driving" the lawnmower here.

 We skyped with my sister Meredith. Lucy and Mere took turns brushing each other's teeth. You bond however you can when there's an ocean between you!

 Lucy spent the afternoon with Babu one day and they hit up the ice cream store. 

 Lucy had a Valentine's Day party at school. I was that mom at 10 pm the night before making cookies. Actually, at 10 pm I realized that I didn't have any eggs... so I was in the car on the way to Target at 10 pm. I actually stayed up to midnight decorating them! Sheesh. But they were yummy!

 Mrs. Melinda, Lucy's awesome teacher, invited the parents to the party. Here she is getting Lucy to write her name. This was the first time I'd seen Lucy do that! HOW COOL! Melinda would write a letter then Lucy would copy it.

Lucy and I had a shopping afternoon. She picked up this hat. Isn't she stylish?

 When we got home from our shopping trip, I was changing Will's diaper on the bed in his room and the sunlight was perfect for pictures!

"Mom, really? Can we be done now?"

 Meanwhile, Brad and Lucy were outside playing - defending the universe or Middle earth or somewhere. I think they're hiding under her umbrella from orcs or storm troopers....

My "baby" sister, Lesley, surprised us with a visit yesterday. She and Will had a big time!

This is how Brad and at least Will, if not Lucy, too, end up for a while each night around 5:30/6pm. (They're sitting like this RIGHT NOW as I'm typing! HA!)

WHEW! That's a lot of pictures. A lot of information! A whole month! Blessings abound! I'll try to do better for the rest of the month and in the future!
