It's POTTY TIME!

(Warning: I'm going to talk about POO in this post...)

We started again. I say again because we tried this in July, without success. And with lots of stress.

This time around... we've taken things a little differently. She seemed ready. She is 6 months older now! And we don't have any vacations or major traveling in front of us, so it was the right time.

I am happy to report that we are no longer using any kind of diapers OR pull-ups! Lucy even went to the potty once today by herself, without our prodding her. She's getting it, folks!

I guess we started on Thursday (we're on day 5 now, I reckon). Thursday was a bit rough, as to be expected. But by Friday, she was getting it! Then Saturday, she pooped on the potty! Then again on Sunday. Then 3 times today!!! (And one of those times today was the one she did by herself!)

*Now, I'm not going to step out there and say she's an expert now, by any means. I think I'm kidding myself if I think we won't ever have any more accidents. But to me, well, from what I've heard, the Poo-ing in the potty is, like, the BIG milestone! Right? Once they get that part, they've pretty much GOT it, right?*

So, praise the Lord for this milestone. She may, in fact, not be in diapers when she's starting high school, like I had feared on those dark days of potty training in July...! Yay!

Day 1. (We actually had a birthday party for her this day as well. Post to come.)
Brad's got a new app on his phone that takes cool pictures.

Teaching her dolls how to use the potty, too. See that tiny little toilet? Precious.
Just chillin', reading some "What's New, Cupcake?" She gets quite relaxed while she's in there sometimes.
 Enjoying a post-POO cupcake!
This was today. She's got a cute tushy...running around in her Dora panties. (Thanks, Bibi!)

I must add that she just seems like a BIG girl now. It seems like her speech is exploding and is clearer now and her actions seem more mature. It's like I have a BIG GIRL on my hands now. Sheesh!
