We've been in our city now for a week and it's been wonderful! We no longer live in the village-like, small Arab town, but we're back in the modern, big Arab city. YAY! We are city people! Not like huge, NYC massive city people, but the type of city people who like to have modern amenities and restaurants and pools and paved roads! Moving on...
We've been blessed by the Lord in many, many ways. The top two that come to mind for this post are the blessings of a car and a house to live in. We have friends who are in the US for the summer and they said, "hey, ya'll wanna use our car?" Um. Yes. What a huge blessing! And when we put out feelers to try to find a place to live for these 6+ weeks, some other friends of ours told us about some new friends - M & J - who have a new house and love having house guests! We have our own room with a bathroom and Lucy has the same! They have a cute doggie, Snickers, and Lucy and Brad are having a blast with her! We are truly blessed! (in so many ways!)

We got to spend an evening with our closest local pals the other night. It was wonderful catching up with them and eating the yummy food they made for us. Rice & Beans! YUM. Lucy had a great time playing with Noh (the Arabic form of Noah).
This is her youngest son, Yusef. Precious. She was messing with his hair and put it up like a girls. Ha.
Lucy found Yusef's baby seat, got in, strapped herself in and then was stuck. She couldn't get out! It was very funny!
Just Lucy being cute!
Sitting in the kitchen at our "summer home" waiting for dinner.
Yesterday, we took an amazing day to go to the pool down at the marina. It's one of our favorite places to go. You buy food off the menu and you get to swim all day long for free.

"I'm Mad."
After me saying, "Don't smile! Don't smile!"
Finally breaking into laughter!
She did lots of BIG jumps yesterday!
Looking at the fish in the marina before we left.
Beautiful face!
It's been a great week! We look forward to many, many more!

Her summer room looks nicer than my girls' rooms! (so tell Lucy to lower her expectations for y'all's visit here! haha!)
