Today, we had a day off from school for a teacher work day - yes, they have those here, too! - so we headed to a nearby city on the coast for some much needed PLAY time at a beautiful pool! This pool was perfect for the kiddos, too! It has an amazing shallow end with big, wide steps for the small ones to play on. What a fun time! Here's some pics from today.
For a while before we left, she stood here and "cooked" some leaves, in small pieces that she tore up. She'd "cook" them, and then feed them to her little hippo. Precious.
Now, let's jump back to some different fun swimming time from last week. First off, Lucy insisted upon wearing this yellow bathing suit. It's got those floaties sewn in. So, even though her friend Morgan thought "Lucy had a big belly", it's just those floaties! :)
These three are quite a mess! But they do have some fun times together! They are certainly Lucy's best friends! They'll be moving at the end of the month and we're super sad! But excited about what God has in store for their family in their new city!
Playtime in the pool always turns into playtime in the DIRT! Lucy saw Morgan & Micah's dad planting this tree and watering it and she wanted to do it, too!
And here they are! The three amigos! Living it up in the dirt!
And then occasionally, bike riding follows.
With someone always pushing because none of them will actually peddle!
I'm super excited that Lucy's turning out to be quite the Water Baby - just like her Mommy!
