We have 4 official days left of school. Well, 4 class days. These 4 days cannot go by fast enough! I'm so ready to say we're halfway done with language school! God is so gracious! It's been a long, tough year. But we're gonna make it!
Maybe I should stop counting... counting tends to make things seem slower... or maybe it's this nagging feeling of nausea I STILL have left over from my wonderful experiences from June 12. :) Not sure.
Someone said to me a few days ago that the difference between 2 1/2 and 3 years old is a baby and a little girl. I'm already seeing this in Lucy. It's amazing how she's growing and getting more and more intelligent. She's even a bit quirky! For example - just a few minutes ago, our friend popped in for a quick hello and Brad told Lucy to say "hi". She tilted her head to the side and waved and said "hi" in slow motion. It was hysterical! They laughed so hard! (Yes, I imagine it would be funnier to see it, but you know how it's basically impossible to get a 2 1/2 year old to perform on camera!)
Just yesterday, Brad and I were talking about how weird it will be to say we have a 3 year old. Sheesh. I feel old. (Now I know what my parents must feel...!)
See how grown up? She's even reading Southern Living! Ready to cook us a good summertime apple pie!

Very cute post! You are right - Lucy looks SO SO big in these pics! I bet a lot of it has to do with her height, but still. Hope that pie turns out okay. :)
